Yes, God is indeed a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, even what we can hide from our dearest friends or can't see in them because of a deep friendship. Even those things with which we might be able to even deceive or delude ourselves.
I pray the Lord give us all a clean heart, a right spirit and a sincere relationship with Him!
