James Baker was a short, skinny little dude who hated my guts during the couple years I attended school with him. In fifth grade, it was nothing for him to pull my hair or punch me in the stomach, or kick my legs. I was helpless as I was told to never fight back.
I was standing in the lunch line when James started punching me. I'd had enough, and I remember dealing four punches to his face. I couldn't have hit him that hard because he wore glasses and they never came off. However, he punched me so hard in the face that my head hit the wall behind me and I think I'm still seeing stars...
In addition, since I hit him, we were both suspended, and my mother beat me really good when I got him also. Lesson learned. I took more beatings from my peers after that.
