Sweetings greetings to you all in the saving Name of our Lord Jesus Christ from the interior of the backland state of Maranhao.

How can I express what my eyes have beheld the last 5 days. Services in the Amazon jungle and watching God fill 18 souls with His precious spirit.

I watched both Indians and the native people weeping begging us to stay and tell them more. Both Bibles and songbooks were given out among the tribes and we made promises to send them more Bibles and songbooks. Two tribes ask for us to build them a church!

We slept in the jungle…watched the big spiders and ever saw 2 wandering spiders! ( A very dangerous spider of the jungle) Water is scarce however God has provided.

One of the vehicles we brought up here just had (?) a brake job done on it or so they said but brakes went out and we are having to do it again. Since it was over 2000 miles away we cannot take it back to the man that claimed he did it…however we are asking if someone would feel to help us pay this expense we would deeply appreciate it. This has been a trip that has cost us lots however there is no price that can be put on a soul. Oh! The results have been awesome.

If anyone can help us we would deeply appreciate it. Today once again we go through dangerous territory…
