It is good to be prepared. In fact, it is probably very VERY good. But it is
also possible for someone to go too far. The first family shown in this episode reminds me of someone spending ALL their spare (and even NON-spare) cash, even forgoing ALL vacations and luxuries, in order to buy Cadillac homeowners insurance. The worst thing that could possible happen to such a family in the end, is for their house to NOT burn down.
