The Bible is obviously the priority book in my reading, but the book "From Perils to Pearls" is an amazing story about early Apostolic missionairies to Nicaragua, R.E. and Sue Beasley.
I read it and it really amazed me how they had to trust God. Bro. Beasley was locked in a trunk at one point and also, they were in Nicaragua through a Civil War and an Earthquake!
It shows how when we labor for God, He can turn our Perils into Pearls...
It really hit home for me since I am called to be a missionary, too.
