I wouldn't trade anything for the time I've been able to stay at home with my children. We actually tried the adventure of me having a job outside the home once... it lasted 9 months. By the end of that time, my hubby was begging me to quit the part time job and just stay home and get the house back in order. I think he was tired of helping out so much with the housework!  His job pays the bills, and my little online survey payments & ebay sales make up a little extra play money. Those "career" people are the ones who really lose out.... I wouldn't want to trade places with any of them. |
I am always amazed when you hear people talking about full time work, coaching soccer, grad classes and on and on. You wonder when they spend any time with their family!
