Sean Hannity had something interesting to say the other day. Apparently there are a group of people who are intent on "infiltrating" the tea party, and doing things like holding up misspelled signs at rallies, spouting off racist comments and otherwise behaving badly. (They have a website that gives the details of their plan--I can't remember the address right off hand.) He advised tea party leaders to lay down firm ground rules for their groups regarding how members are to behave, and trust me--racism won't be tolerated in most areas. The Tea Party is NOT about racism, and these groups are going to actively work to remove anyone who purports such.

Never said it wasn't, just that it is scary how bad it used to be.
As far as Hannity, I assume he didn't have any facts to back up these "sleeper Tea Party cells"? There might be people that do that, but the majority of non Tea Party people don't pay that much attention to them.
