I didn't intend to, but I did do it. The reason was because I had so much pain in my heart. Not only would people be inconsistent but no one wanted to name that fact...all the while being quite hypoctitical. I remember asking about it and simply being told not to judge. But they were judging my relatives all the time for wearing a necklace.
