Yes, I understand the respect level and all that.
But I'm not sure how much value an endorsement would (or even should) have at this point.
If an "undecided" voter decides to go for Obama because of Powell's endorsement, that's a voter who unfortunately is probably not that informed of the issues at this point... which is kinda sad. The differences between Obama and McCain are so stark and distinct, that it shouldn't take an endorsement by another person for someone to finally decide who to case their vote for.
Then again, I never understood by endorsements were considered important anyway.
If I like who I like, I don't need some celebrity or politician telling me who THEY like, as if my choice is supposed to be influenced by what they think.
