He didn't get his feelings hurt because his guy lost the primary. He simply doesn't believe in or trust Donald Trump. So let him have his choice and you can have yours.
Bottom line - if Donald wins, you win and DT wins - you both voted your conscience.

Didn't say he didn't have the right. Of course he has the right. Trump is a pretty flawed individual. I've never been enthusiastic about him. I am enthusiastic about Hillary not being president. It's unfortunate that many Republicans that choose not to support Trump do so ignoring the vast chasm of difference between DT's flaws and the glaring, dangerous, and corrupt issues HRC brings with her.
