There are still pockets of racism. There is a town here in Arkansas that is racist. There are no other races living there nor would they be allowed to. But their philosophy has no power because everyone outside the town looks at them as irrelevant to the rest of society.
We can blame the media and the left for empowering racist like AS and JJ by giving them a soapbox, but the real empowerment comes from the black community that responds in a negative way. This why you do not see the KKK on media anymore, there is no response that brings conflict and ratings. It was Morgan Freeman that stated the solution to racism is to stop talking about it. In other words, stop empowering it.
