I haven't been able to check the weather forecast because our power has been out and now I am running getting ready for work but we still have a foot out there and there is more on our cleared driveway again.
I am not sure how much time but first a person has to tap all the trees and then collect the sap and then it is forty gallons of sap to one gallon of syrup! So there is all the boiling down too! We didn't do any boiling yesterday. So, now you know why real Maple Syrup is so expensive!
