Speaking from personal experience, I think one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) problem in the Apostolic church today is the Works of the Flesh. I fight my stinkin' flesh more today than I EVER have, in all my 40 years of serving God. I am not tempted to sin- I want no part of anything the world has to offer- HOWEVER, I fight weariness and tiredness, and plain ol' laziness more than ever- where church is concerned.
I can work circles around anyone when it comes to yard work, painting the house, my job, etc. But, let a man of god ask me to COMMIT to being somewhere at a certain time, on a certain day, and I will fight my flesh until the day comes, and 80% of the time- my flesh is winning.
I get sick of myself...
Anyone else fight this? Maybe I just need to pray through real good.
