Avatar problems

I'm having problems getting my Avatar to post.
It's from a file on my computer. Any suggestions?

Did you see the instructions here? How to Personalize Your Profile

"Usable pics have two limitations. Pixel size and file size. (In most cases 120 x 120 pixels, and 9.8 KB.) Your pic must fit BOTH of those parameters to be able to upload to the forum."

Yes I did, thanks.
I'm just so computer dense I have no idea if the pic fits the parameters, or how to find out.

Can you send it to me in an email? If you use Outlook you can send it to me by clicking on 'Attach File', browsing your computer and adding the image to the email.
