I've read parts of "Every Man's Battle" and found it to be a bit Puritan in it's approach. Left feeling like intimacy was dirty and merely being a man is a sin. I'd rank it up with works that lead everyday people to believe that they have a problem, relegating them to being perpetual victims of their own human nature bearing a near constant shame. I'd suggest "A Celebration of Sex" by Douglas Rosenau (a prolific, down to earth, and knowledgeable Christian therapist on the subject) and "Sex For Christians" by Lewis Smede (Fuller Theological Seminary). I'd also suggest various articles by PhD James Dobson on the subject.

But if I were away for an extended period of time, for example deployed for war or on the road, I'd not judge my wife if when I got home she said, "Honey, I've missed you so much. I do agree that this isn't necessary on a daily basis and indeed it can take away from the intensity of intimate time together.

You know what is annoying! I order my husband a part for his boat, something from Bass Pro Shop, a fishing magazine and NOW I'm getting Viagra, etc. Spam in my e-mail!!!!! One or all of them sold my e-mail address!

And IF you happen to be watching a hunting/fishing program or sports, it has so many male enhancement commercials. Good grief!!!! No wonder men can be so.........
