I've read parts of "Every Man's Battle" and found it to be a bit Puritan in it's approach. Left feeling like intimacy was dirty and merely being a man is a sin. I'd rank it up with works that lead everyday people to believe that they have a problem, relegating them to being perpetual victims of their own human nature bearing a near constant shame. I'd suggest "A Celebration of Sex" by Douglas Rosenau (a prolific, down to earth, and knowledgeable Christian therapist on the subject) and "Sex For Christians" by Lewis Smede (Fuller Theological Seminary). I'd also suggest various articles by PhD James Dobson on the subject.

Some couples would revel, enjoy themselves, and laugh about their time together. Others would feel odd. Some couples wear intimate items, use various lotions, or even employ intimate items in their love making.
We need to understand that this subject calls for some privacy, respect, and flexibility. I'd handle it on a couple by couple basis.

Good book, some men have a hard time finishing, touches to many buttons.

You mean we cannot use our sailor and "lady of the evening" costumes?
True story: The police responded to an urgent 911 call placed by a pastors wife to their home. Once they got there they found her tied up on the bed dressed in a 1920's style outfit and long black hair wig. Her husband was knocked out, and in the closet, dressed in a Superman costume. He had gone in there with the intent of popping out and "saving" Louis Lane but while in there something dropped from the top shelf and knocked him out. His wife was tied up and had to use her foot to reach the phone to call the cops.

I do agree that this isn't necessary on a daily basis and indeed it can take away from the intensity of intimate time together.
So we agree on quite a bit.

Agreed! Now I'm bored with the subject.

Re: Ministries for women porn addicts
You know what is annoying! I order my husband a part for his boat, something from Bass Pro Shop, a fishing magazine and NOW I'm getting Viagra, etc. Spam in my e-mail!!!!! One or all of them sold my e-mail address!
And IF you happen to be watching a hunting/fishing program or sports, it has so many male enhancement commercials. Good grief!!!! No wonder men can be so.........
Okay, just wanted to vent!
