Too Young For "Grandma"

I'm "Gran" - Maddy's other grandmother is "Mia" - which I LOVE!!! when Maddy was learning to talk, "Mia" came out "Meana"!!! sometimes Mia thought that's what she really meant! too funny!! I have a friend who has her "grands" call her "Honey" which is cute!!

Our pastors kids call use papa for his dad and poppy for the other grandpa.
There Poppy is a missionary in Europe.

I have picked up he moniker of Grampy.

Hmmmm ? Probably cuz it sounds like Grumpy!

Bro. Sam,
I actually have a grandson that called me Bam-Maw. He's 16 now and
said to me one day, "Grandma, remember when I called you Bam-Maw".
He thought it was funny now that he is older. He's one of 15 fine GOD-Loving
grandsons. Ages 2-26.
As our grandchildren get older, it seems that most call us Grandma and Grandpa,
which is fine. At 70 and 72, we don't mind what they call us. Just so they call us.
We live near all except four and they are only about 30 minutes away. We love it.
The two yr. old grandson, the youngest of the 20, calls us MawMaw and PawPaw.
We love and enjoy our grandchildren very much! They love and respect us. They
were taught to do so. Makes for a wonderful relationship.

Well, our kids have pulled a big joke on me and are saying they will call me Maw-Maw. I told my daughter, "NO, THEY WILL NOT CALL ME THAT!!" She laughed and said, "Oh, yes they will!" I was sooooooo furious and refused to cooperate, but now it's such a hoot, I don't really care. LOL!
