If You Run A PDA Phone......................
For all of you who run PDA phones....Treo's, 8125, 8525's, 6700's and some others I am sure.....
When Bro. Scott Graham was with us last week he told me of a download that is a must if you have one of these phones.....it is a total voice command.....not just the ones pre-programed into the phones.
With it I can access all of my contacts....it will tell me my next appointment if I just ask it to....start a game on the PDA.....start a Word document......and on and on....
go to google, type in voice command and it is on the top... i think the software company is handigo......cingular has it up on their site as their voice command software.....make sure your phone will work with it.....it is totally awesome....

At work I'm suppose to have one, but I do not want to be that electronically leashed........I'll read my emails when I get to my desk.

ok - kinda off the subject - but why is it that an existing cell customer has to pay FULL retail price for a phone that a new customer could get for free, or next to nothing? With the PDA phone, I could have cancelled my service, paid the stupid cancel fee, taken my number and gone to another provider who would gladly give me the PDA phone for a fraction of the cost, with my old number...and I'd still have saved money.
What is the advantage to staying with any one company? Why are all the savings passed on to NEW accounts?? This really burns me up - I have to pay FULL retail price for a PDA phone but a new customer could get this $500 phone for $99

Call customer service...tell them your situation.....when they say no.... ask for their boss and keep doing this....it will get you to somebody that can do something about it....now in all fairness if you just upgraded, it may not work....but if you are up for a new contract.....hammer em.....that is how I got my 8525....nice .....but firm to the good people on the other end of the line....

Sometimes you can hang up and call back to get a better answer.
My contract is up...... I hear the blackberry is to die for from my brother-in-law. Then again, his employer paid for the new one...
