I am in no religion.

I am baptised into Christ.

What better way to celebrate a holiday notely named - Christmas

Thus the “pagan origins of Christmas” is a myth without historical substance.

The article gives no primary source for this above conjecture. Why?
The above is to lead us to believe something that the writer never presents proof for, so why make the statement?

46 BC, Roman "Julian Calendar" was created, December 24th was the shortest day of the year.

December 25th was the first annual day that daylight began to increase. Thus, this shows the rebirth or Annual Birthday of the Invincible sun.

The writer of the article doesn't take this information into account for his argument, nor does he supply us with the information of why he chose his statement (in previous post "bolded").

Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!

And then there's my personal belief...even if the date is of pagan origin...I think being cowards and ignoring it is denying our dominion mandate. All power and authority belongs to Christ. I say take dominion over their holiday in the name of Jesus Christ. This is a war...we take ground not give it up. If the pagans honor the dead on the eve of October 31st...why not turn society's attention to Christian martyrs? Why even give Satan a single day? Take them ALL and use them as is fitting to glorify Christ. If the pagans celebrated the rebirth of the Sun on December 25th...why not take dominion and turn the day to honor the Sun of Righteousness rising with healing in his wings?

Take into consideration...even the days of the week have pagan names. Do you call Thursday, "Thursday"? If so, are you honoring the god Thor?

Get guts, take dominion. Stop teaching Christians to run scared. Take all things and glorify Christ with them.

You're randomly grasping without addressing the complexity of the issue.

I am for celebrating the birth of Christ.

I celebrate it as his traditional birthday.

As we do not have the accurate records of this birthday...

Break out your history book son. There wasn't a popular pagan festival observed around December 25th until Aurelius.
