People who don't believe in a Trinity but keep the tinsel tree?

So the moon landing took place on July 20th, 1969.

Which was my 5th birthday.

Do I celebrate my birthday or does it get deminished because of the anniversary of the moon landing.

You could pick a day from Jan 1st to Dec 31st and some wacho could find some tree, water, sun or dirt God that the Pagan's claimed was born to life on that same day.

But the difference to a believer is that we know those are gods.

We know that Christ is the Almighty God.

He is the one to be exalted over all...

We all celebrate the day we were born to new life.

I know you know the date you were baptized and received the spirit.

So we are born into Christ we celebrate that day.

But we will not set aside a day for the one who came into this world so we might have a new birth.

No, that's in the Bible. The tree, and the jewelry that goes on the tree along with the 25th of December is NOT in the Bible. Therefore we can deny the Tinsel Tree of the Catholic Faith and teach our children the same.

Homosexuals getting married and affecting the politics of our nation, and am going to worry about one month out of twelve? No thank you, we have bigger fish to fry. I suggest we 86 the warm fuzzies and start winning souls in Jesus name the other 11 months.

Wait a minute? Wasn't it you who said that we don't know the exact day of Christ's birth? You know the exact day of the moon walk and your own birthday, but the birth of Jesus Christ you don't know the day, and you are more than pleased to hyjack some Persian sun god's birthday and place Jesus' birthday over it?

There are dates you mentioned above that we do know, but the date of Chirst's birth we don't. Why? Because like you said there is no mandate to celebrate it.

What is funnier than anything, is that the no holiness crowd will fight like wolves when it comes to downing holiness standards, but then turn around and claim xmas is Christian. Whatever!

My children will know more Bible by the age of 17 than most preachers.
They get the Word everyday in English and in Greek.

like I said, my children are in the Word, all year round.

Now that sounds like a slap.

When my 3 year old son asked me who this baby was that I read about.

He was diagnosed with Fanconis Anemia 6 months later.

If is a genetic disease that afflicts just a few thousand worldwide.

He had a non-related doner bone marrow transplant in MN in 2004.

He is 4 years post transplant.

He wanted us to read to him from the bible when he laid in the bed for 6 months.

Because he knew who this Jesus was........

My Children have exhausted the word of God with me.

my own father was one of the most respected Oneness teachers in the
1960's and 1970's in the UPCI.

He was dean of Theology at many of the bible colleges.

He spoke and read both Greek and Hebrew.

I personally have read the bible through 35 times.

We take communion as requested by Christ.

As to remember his body and his blood that was broken for us.

So for me to read again the birth of Christ to my children.

In the midst of the rest of the world wrapped up in commercialism is a great thing.

You are probily one to complain we do not have prayer in the public schools.

Or the pledge of alliagance is getting faught on all fronts because of the use of the word God.

To use your thinking who cares.

You can say a prayer or the pledge in your own home.

You are so good you have it all covered.

The fact your kids will know the bible better than most preachers.

Speaks more to the assemblies you associate yourself with and less about the revelation your kids may have over those ministers.

So you should not be worried that anyone socially might take your right away to worship or assemble to worship.

Because you do not want the world to see you a religion.

How about they just see you as a Christian?

Let the spoils try and call us what they want....

It is amazing how much Jevoha Witness....Witness we have in the house...

Every Christian value is under attach because men like you have given up the fight on the frontlines by taking the name of Christ our of a season.

That has the attention of 2 billion people on earth.

I have never associated the tree that we decorate each year as a memorial or alter to Jesus Christ.

I worship it no more than I worship the pagen fork.

Again you pervert the holiday as saying everything associated with the day is about Christ.

The birth of Christ and affection one for another and the giving of gifts.

Is in memory of Christ.

Again we do not pray to nor worship the tree....

So, once again you have proven that we have no need of a special month to relay any of the Bible stories to our children.

Great, now yours and my children will know more Bible than some preachers.
Bravo! Plus they will learn faster because it will not be one reading a year.

Go preach to the your side of the country and I will preach to mine and we will see together if we can whip this puppy into shape. We will also do it faster, because we will have more then one month to explain to them the Word.

All this because of a made up holiday left over from the Catholics?

So now xmas and the Constitution are on the same level? So much for truth.

Maybe to those who worshipped him, but to the rest of the freethinking world he is as fake as the Catholic Mass that bares the name of Christ.

The constitution refers to God. Christmas names the God.
