Y'all need to pray that the Seattle company that supplies gas to our villiage will lower our gas prices. We are still paying over $4 + tx.

We're 1.99 here.. as long as 6.5 percent of the population is laid off and without a job, the prices are not going to go up much... and may fall some more. It's all about supply and demand. People have bought more fuel efficient cars, retired people's incomes have dropped as their investments have gotten smaller. As long as the trends continue like their going, you'll continue to see gas prices drop.

Re: gas prices rising?

I bought gas for our van on Nov. 7th. The prices were 1.829, 1.929 and 2.029.
I bought gas for our pickup truck on Nov. 8th and they were the same. This is a Kroger Store. Today on the way to church we passed another Kroger Store and their prices were 1.799, 1.899, and 1.999.

Re: gas prices rising?

I filled up for $1.95 in Jackson yesterday, and $1.88 in Lexington last week, so it's still going down here in West Tennessee.
