Go read the rules and join. They are really good Brothers and Sisters. You know something, if someone was misrepresenting you and your friends, wouldn't you want those people to get the facts? Go and join, and find out for yourself.

It's a good change of pace from AFF. Less drama. Definitely a different flavor.

Besides, it's a good idea to have a variety of different Apostolic forums to go to from time to time. Diversity is always a good thing.

With your spirit and common sense posting I am sure you would be welcome there.

There are many similarities between the forums, for example sometimes even on JP there are strong differences of opinion.

However what I see as primary differences between the forums:

Much slower pace, of course there are less than 300 active members (including lurkkers)

More respectful conversations.

As TR said comparatively less drama.

Attitude in posts counts.

And zero tolerance for challenging Acts 2:38 as being the only full and correct response to the gospel message.

It is for ministers and their wives only.

The last three points are the primary reasons that many are not members.

From what I have noted in the six months I have been there is that the most common reason for being banned after joining is disrespectful attitude.

Dissenting opinions are allowed, especially on things like extra-Biblical standards, but there is no tolerance for the "in your face" posting style by either side.
