That was a "back at you" to Gibson and Couric!!! Good for her!!!
She does these things in such a lady like way! That's why the people like her.

Exactly! They tried to make a deal of that last night about her changing the format when she said she wouldn't answer the questions, but another guy came back and said, "what she really said was I won't answer the questions the way you want to hear them." Good job!

Yes, and I really believe people got that. Didn't she also say something, at the end of the quote you posted, about her wanting to give answers to the American people?

Re: The Palin vs Biden Debate Your Thoughts
I have to give an honest opinion of the debate.
Palin's folksy style and grin really annoyed me! In my opinion, she needs to mature about ten years!
In this debate, Biden looked like the professor, and Palin looked like his prize student. He was much more comfortable than she was in this setting.
I got the feeling that Palin was focusing on how she would answer, more than listening to the entire questions.
Biden's confidence and demeanor gave him a commanding presence that overshadowed Palin.
I will vote for McCain/Palin because of the issues, but Palin didn't reach the level (in style) that she had to for the American people to start leaning toward their ticket.

I'm trying to get out of here, but I must respond to this! I cannot disagree with you more.
She showed her ability to work in a political and governmental setting. She showed she is capable. She has a command of executive experience - that showed through.
It would have hurt her greatly, which would never be a part of who she is anyway, to come across in the demeanor as Hillary or Geraldine Ferraro.
She did a great job!
Biden did the "old administration", IMO. He was more "old stuff" than he tried to pin on Bush and McCain.
Okay, I'm out.

Re: The Palin vs Biden Debate Your Thoughts
I believe she did exactly what Deacon Blues said she would yesterday - she was herself. She was fresh, spunky, and made her points about changing Washington.
If people think someone "like them" is in the White House that there is a chance to shake things up.
The only thing that bothered me about her was at first she had that chunk of hair that was on her eyelash and it was moving everytime she blinked. Finally, she took care of it and it wasn't distracting anymore - lol!
