Wow how beautiful! Too bad she didnt pass her pieces down instead of selling them.

I never buy food magazines. But, Food and Wine is a good one. When my MIL was in a nursing home I found an excellent cheesecake recipe in a Food and Wine. I tore it out and still use that same recipe.

I love flats. They go great with a knee length skirt, and are much better than more casual options. (sneakers...LOL!!!!)

I love pumps, too. But I only wear them when I'm dressed up, with the exception of high-heeled boots.

I want shoes like they wore in the 50's!!! I love them!!!

What are Skimmers? And do you wear Krocs? LOL!
Oh, my goodness. NEVER!!!!! I hate them. My youngest daughter loves them, but I will make sure she outgrows that affinity!!!!!!!!

Actually, I think skimmers are really just flats, but I've always called flats with a tiny kitten heel "skimmers."

I subscribe when I can get them for $1 per issue, so that's $12 per year for each. That's my allowance.

I can do the leather Keds for the park or something. Nike walking shoes are out, but I do have a pair I wear when I take my dog walking.

I haven't bought boots in a while. The last pair I had was a grey eel-skin. I really loved those boots. My kids loved putting them on when they were little.

I'm way too claustrophobic to wear a shoe I can't kick off when the walls come closing in.

Give me air, Give me air!!!

Re: Does Pressing On Inspire Shoe Collecting ?

How did we get to furniture and magazines?

Shoes - I love shoes!

It's been six months since my knee replacement and I'm wearing heels!

I'm so happy now! I hate being short.

Great news!!!! There are pluses to being short. Your feet are smaller and there are more shoe choices!
