My daughter went to Fresno State for a year and half, (on a full vocal performance scholarship) and then during Christmas break the second year, said she realized that she didn't want to be a music major, so she came back home and took half a year off. Since then it has been back and forth trying to figure out what she is going to do, at least she is going to school here now, if I had to be moving her in and out of dorms, I think I would kill her!
I cannot count the times we loaded up the cars and/or uhauls and moved Ashley. Thank goodness that will be up to her and her new hubby now!!!!!
I only changed majors once. I'd decided I wanted to teach history and coach football and I decided the stress of the job and the money didn't correlate at all. I changed over to business admin and I told my Dad about it.
He was helping me pay for a lot of it at that time. He told me that was fine, but I only got one major change free pass on him. He patted me on the back and said go get it and I did. I was tempted a few times to switch but I always remembered that conversation.
