in answer to the original question...I started out playing in band in elementary school. The clarinet! But my musical life began in the 8th grade on my grandmother's piano.
I've played in church since I was 15 and my greatest inspiration is my husband who is sooo incredible!
One of the most memorable moments for me was when I we were at a youth rally at the Hilton and I saw this gorgeous piano in the lounge and it was calling my name. No one was on it so I went in and started playing. I was very flattered when the manager came and offered me a job. That was a wonderful moment in my life, of course I declined the offer since I was only a sophomore in highschool!
I play piano, keyboards and organ.
As much as I love keyboards, the cool sounds, the variety of styles and the diversity of things you can do, I have not found one that can truly compare to an incredible grand piano!
