Re: Why does it seem that men are obsessed here...

You have got to be kidding me!!! Do some of you really believe that the anointing is directly proportional to how matronly the women look?

Eastman, you brought up an excellent point regarding caring for women's salvation; however, placing the responsibility on the women to prevent men from lusting after them wouldn't be fair. You're far more likely to see immodestly dressed women going to and from work then you would ever see in a church whether that church be conservative or liberal.

Come on, STM...back off...slow down...take a deep breath here...

our OP ladies are often...

...more dedicated than our men to the work of God...

...more impacted by the teaching and preaching of "standards" than men...

...more intense prayer warriors than our men...

...more dedicated and faithful to church services than men...

...more stable emotionally and spiritually than our men...

Look at the average OP church choir and tell me where are the spiritual, dedicated men????

You ladies are a shining example of personal dedication and humility...as you faithful follow the teaching of His Word... thanks so much for that...

So why don't men discuss issues pertaining to them and their "leadership" of their families? As the family goes, so the church goes....

To a point, I agree with HeavenlyOnes observations. Some men do have an obsession and a spiritual problem. Some, not all.

HO, i dont care about this subject you dont hear me talkin about it do you, it is personal between ladies and god, but we are all admonished to be modest and appropriate, god judges us all , we need to all dress decent, men can be immodest too, however i do agree that i think in many cases it is a control issue, to bad, that is not godly at all, lol,dt

I think some of you menfolk are quite strange.

I can't imagine being on a thread about men's dress and commenting about things I know nothing about as if I do.

Honestly, some of you have something wrong upstairs. I'm serious here. I think there are quite a few of you who need to pray and ask God to get your eyes off other women and what they are wearing and how they are wearing it. Some of you men notice more about women's clothing than the women do!

Anyone who has been around here knows that when it comes to women's clothing issues, there are more men commenting on those threads than women. Just look at the latest women's holiness thread!!

Some of you have a problem and need to seek God. Bad.
HO! What got in your craw?!!!!

Okay, true - I asked my husband if he noticed the women's hair in our churches. He said, "Yes, because we preach about it all the time." I slapped him and told him to stop looking!

I'm not sure men are obsessed by the topic. I haven't noticed it - okay - St. Mark, but who's counting?

She didn’t condemn anyone but she did see and feel the changes…
The level of consecration may have changed when the dress code changed, but the anointing did not change because of the dress code.

From my thread observations, if it weren't for "women" issues, this forum would basically be dead most of the time.

I think this is what HO has observed.

It gets old.
