EB got banned for what he said in another thread. Okay, it happened. But he did not say anything close to what these "saints" are saying in this thread. Admin, please do something about this wickedness. EB is being completely misrepresented, and it has been shown to be the case many times.

I'm sorry to say that I must of missed some good action here. Apparently my friend E.B. had some "LIES" told about him and he was given a sabbatical for it.

Oh well. Since I'm just a'making friends all over the place lately, let's break this post down. I saw you misunderstand it in the first place but let it slide cuz I figured someone else would handle it.
See? He didn't say women preachers are lesbians. He said he can't stand the ones who try to be MEN while in the pulpit. I can't either, and to save some argument, I'm not talking about strong women, just those who try to be men to appear strong.
The point is, there is nothing in his post that points to lesbians being spoken about.
Just because a woman is acting masculine doesn't mean she's acting like a lesbian, and that's what I'm trying to say.
He could have stopped with calling those women 'masculine acting women', but he didn't......he called them masculine lesbians......masculine having nothing to do with lesbians.
And another thing.....'acting like a man' is subjective. There is a male preacher commonly spoken about on this forum who, to some, acts feminine, but I don't see him that way. He is gentle and soft-spoken and emotional, but they think he's feminine because he doesn't stomp, spit, and sweat his way through his sermons.
I have yet, however, to see someone refer to him and those men who act as he does as 'feminine queers'. Why? Because calling them queer has nothing to do with acting feminine.

L&F, I'm convinced that you don't read posts. BE never said that EB said anything, he said he implied it. Big difference. He also felt that the pics were speaking how EB felt.

No it has been said that EB "SAID" it. You need to reread the posts. As a matter of fact, that is what I first brought up about this; I asked where EB 'SAID' it, becuase that was the exact word used. When his words could not be produced, then you all changed that to 'implied by the picture.'

There is nothing in his post that indicates that those women were acting like lesbians. Acting masculine doesn't make one a lesbian anymore than acting feminine makes one a sissy or queer.

Some scripture was already posted in regards to church leadership. You posted it yourself. However, there is more to church leadership than just apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Is it additional scripture you want?
Or perhaps you are one of those that believes the only "head" of the church is the pastor? Where does that leave the others? I mean really...apostles, prophets, evangelists and teachers may not "pastor" therefore I suppose they don't qualify as "heads" in the church?
