I also have a poor college student complex going on. I fully recognize that study books may be better (hey maybe the campus library has some if you'll give me some titles or authors to look for!) but google is cheaper and therefore more accessible right now. |

If I remember a post correctly, (don't really want to go back through 39 pages of typing...) they said a servent in the bible is only a person who waits on tables and etc....then in that case the deacon was supposed to never preach, only wait on tables and elderly, Isn't that what steven and the 7 were appointed to do? But yet we jump on what a great sermon he preached. He didn't preach but only "testify" according to the logic in that mindset.
