But we travelled in most of the districts, so we may have met him along the way.
Anyhow, I'm convinced that some of the most able, intelligent, and faithful pastors/ministers preachers and Bible teachers never gain the spotlight but are the unsong heroes of the AO movement.
God knows though, and their reward will be rich - someday.

Thanks so much. Also, his brother-in-law, Clyde Haney didn't do too bad either.

Many of the names mentioned on this thread are strangers to me. Never heard tell of them.

And here is a name of a man that was in my estimation a powerful Bible teacher whose name you have probably never heard of outside of New Brunswick, Canada:
Harvey McNair

If he was a great pastor and teacher that's what's important. There are always elders and young preachers in the church to take care of those services.

I guess for great teachers I would list:
Biship Karl Smith, PAW, Columbus, OH heard on radio and ALJC Camp
F.E. Curts, pastor and Dist. Supt. Cincinnati, OH
James Beall, Detroit, MI, used to hear him on the radio

If you're talking about Bro. David Gray I know that I love his "Questions Pentecsotals Ask" books. They were some of my greatest sources of understanding as a new convert and I've looked through them again many times in Pastoring people with unique questions.
GREAT books. I think there are three of them.
Not sure if he has others as well but I think he does.
