What is a firstling?
I brought this up on another forum and thought I might present it here as well.

So an animal would only have one firstling in a lifetime correct?

Why do you ask? Are you planning on reproducing?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (
1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues
.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Assuming that things are the same with firstfruits then I wonder how that would work with the 2 main different types of plants?
For instance... a tree... which bears year after year after year....
Would the first fruits only be from the first year or from the first fruit from every year?
It seem that tomatoes etc would have first fruits every year because they have to be replanted.
How many apples from an apple tree does it take to fulfill first fruits? One? A dozen?
