Florida?????
I hope not to move until the end of the year lands me into a nicer house.
Not a different city though...just a better home.

LOL! No, what I meant was ..... "HUSH! Don't even suggest such a thing!" 'Cause it's the last thing I want to hear or have to do.

I on the other hand watched 2 kids load an entire uhaul and one of them get hit in the head by a 50lb box of crystal and get knocked out cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And oh its been fun and we have only just begun!

And to think I tried to rush and get this done and surprise the hubby before he got home....... yea he may be surprised everything may be gone cuz it got broke not because of the garage sale LOL....
Sorry to hear that, but if it makes you feel any better - I'm only half-way through unpacking - haven't cleaned the other apt. yet and I can't find the remote to the TV - - I have to get up to change the channel. Of course, there's only 3 channels to choose from because they haven't transferred by cable yet - - and whatever they did transfer they messed up my email and I can't even sign on Comcast now.

Felicity, I hope you don't have to move either - - it gets harder as the years keep up on you. I've tried to do this without bugging my son since he's busy trying to remodel his house to move into it, so it's been challenging at times. I needed my china cabinet moved just a few inches and didn't have the power in me to even budge it.....so, I guess we DO need men in our lives.

LOL
Everytime we move I always say never again. But it seems that more often than I care to admit I am in that dilemma again.

I don't know how I'd ever make out on my own - honest I don't. My husband takes care of everything! And he does it without complaining and that's how he's always been.

We were talking the other day on the drive to work and I told him that I didn't know what I'd ever do if anything happened to him. That I didn't know how I'd ever make out on my own.

He laughed and said I'd be remarried again within 3 months. I gave him the evil eye - LOL - but then was honest and said that I truly don't know how I'd make out all on my own and that maybe I would need to think about the idea of remarriage..

I guess you just have to learn how - many have - even though it wasn't their choice.

I feel like a nomad many times. I just want to hang curtains and feel more "settled" and have that feeling of security and permanence.

But one thing I'm very thankful for is that wherever we've been over the years - here at home and overseas as well - I've had very nice homes to live in. And two of my own. We owned 2 homes back in N.B and they were both lovely.

This house we're living in now is very very nice but we're only just renting and really, I wouldn't want to buy it because it's quite noisy here - in a cul de sac and we have no real yard .... just a small triangle of grass in the front. We can't afford to buy at this point anyhow. Everything here is sky high!
