Some don't realize that you can call yourself Apostolic or Oneness Pentecostal and be a one stepper. Lot's of fine folks through the years, even in positions of leadership, have been one steppers. Some people just don't want you to know that.

I don't just think it. I know it ..... without any reasonable proof.

I wish I could name a name here - just to make the point...
I was at a "party" once with a guy that the "conservative" element really pushed and rallied behind. Someone brought up this issue in an oblique way and he said, "I believe that God will make an exception for Zane Grey, Paul Harvey and Rush Limbaugh..." (That is, an exception on water baptism in Jesus name).
He was of course just trying to turn the conversation around to lighter matters with a joke and no one really would challenge the statement on theological terms, but he had an impact on everyone in the room. Firstly, the pastor whose home we were meeting in had several handsomely bound Zane Grey volumes displayed on a bookshelf - and this guy was also a "notorious 3 stepper" and one of the kindest men I have ever met. Next, the context and conversation exposed to me the speaker's fondness of keeping current on political events - something that meant he had an understanding of not just the radio guys he mentioned, but of the importance of media in general.
With that one small joke and his enormous personal influence he taught me about a year's worth of ministerial training. And the laughter that followed showed Felicity is probably quite correct. It wasn't a serious doctrinal debate, but it was a bit of insight into the hearts of others.

In the Wisconsin District?

Yes, in central Wisconsin. The church is not in the organization but the family have been multi-generational preachers.

I have a very old book that is type written, memographed, loosely bound, entitled "Pentecostal Home Bible Course" written by him. It is quite large, with many, many chapters in it.
If my memory serves me, he was closely associated with a brother Rhone who had a Bible School out West, probably in Idaho. The "Penteocstal Home Bible Course" was probably the curriculum in that Bible School that was taught by him. I never knew either of these men. They were probably dead before I was ever born. I have just heard of them. I am pretty sure that these men were of the PCI persuasion.
