Our young people are wise beyond their years. They mature much to fast We need to keep them innocent just as long as we possibly can. I wish I had mine to raise again. But you have only one chance with a precious gift God has placed in your care, and you had better make the best of it, there are no second chances. Once a child has lost their innocence there's no going back. I see so many Mother pushing their daughters into maturity because of popularity, they dress them to provocative for their age. I saw one picture some months back where a Mother posted of her daughter in a low strapless Prom dress. She said she made her wear a wrap to go out, but she posted the picture on here without the wrap. How many people do you think may have looked at that picture of her daughter? Please Mothers, treasure that child and don't make her into an adult before it's time to do so.
The point I was attempting to make was this, "If you think its a sin to wear it youself, why would you allow your little ones wear it?"
Not so much that I'd consider it a sin, but there are things children wear that aren't appropriate for adults to wear....or appropriate for adults to wear in certain situations, but for kids, it's not a big deal.
