That story doesn't qualify for this thread - it wasn't a first kiss.

I edited the post after you pulled the quote....

I added... "By the way... It was on September 3rd 1990. It was a monday. Labor Day. I will never forget it for as long as I live."

It still blows her away that I remember the date.... But, like I said, I will never forget it.

Face it... when one of us sheltered Texas boys gets kissed by one of them Louisiana women... it is a life changing event.

Let me tell you about my 'Lil Brudder'

I don't know if it was his first kiss
But
He had just returned from
his tour in from the Service
AND
He bought a "Red/White CORVETTE -

It was a Dark and Cold Winter Night
when he decided to kiss her
as they were going thru an intersection -

While he was kissing her
the CORVETTE
sorta drifted to the right
and grazed a Pole -

Because
Of the 10 Degree Weather
As The Corvette Grazed That Pole -
The Right Side
Of That Fiberglass Car

S H A T T E R E D !

I Simply Asked Him
" WAS THE KISS WORTH IT "?

{ btw, She got rid of the Corvette shortly after they married }

so I am on my knees in front of Mr. Darbone's desk saying "Please dont tell my dad!" (dad taught at the school)

and guess who walked into the Principles office? MY DAD. The gig was up...

Lets just say it was 5 years before I kissed another girl....see my above post... it was at Louisiana youth camp and I was 10 and she was blond.

I walked her down to the bridge and boy that was the longest walk of my life because I knew what I had to do at the end of that walk. I was scared to death. Well we get to the "kissing bridge" as we called it and the monster was there.

Monster is the name for the monitors that monitor the camp. and obstensibly us kids trying to kiss each other... I WAS SO OFF THE HOOK! or so I thought. This dude was asking questions and if you got the question right....HE LET YOU KISS THE GIRL....jerk....

So he asks her the first question and of course she got it right. I was up next and I remember thinking all I had to do was get the answer wrong and I was off the hook. He asks the question and before I can stop myself, I hear ME GIVING THE RIGHT ANSWER!....idiot...

well there I was in front of AAAAALLLLLL of my friends and AAAALLLLL her friends and this stinking monster and a bunch of other people and Im hearing "well are you gonna kiss her?"

I dont even remember her name but I remember floating back to the dorm...
Ferd, I did notice your story and loved it - especially the twist on the ending!!

I can't believe there was a bridge monster.

What job do you all think the bridge monster has today?

Toll booth Collector?

Information Counter at DMV?

Service Advisor for Car Dealer?

AOL Help Desk?

The first kiss that I can remember happened when I was six sitting on the backstep of our house.

His name was Neil and he was SO cute! He had a twin brother named Dale and my friend was having a difficult time catching him ..... chasing him and all ..... while Neil and I were sitting on the back step enjoying ourselves and our kisses.

But I had already been in love prior to this event with a handsome older teenage boy with the most beautiful blue eyes and black hair who lived across from my grandparents. I told him I was going to marry him!

That never happened but we did end up pastoring many years later in the village where he lived. He was backslidden at that time and his wife had never been born again. She started coming to church, gave her life to God, got baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost! Later, he started coming to church again and prayed back through and has lived for God now faithfully for many years.

Interesting how things turn out.

Well, not to be outdone by D4T, my first kiss with my wife was at 10:15 pm on January 14, 1989 outside the Mirror Room at the Hotel Bentley where we had met. I have not kissed another woman since (except family members of course)!

First kiss was in the afternoon outside the church in the backseat of my brothers car, while waiting on him to run in the church for a quick errand.
