Neither does it say anything about a man not to have long hair, but Paul says it is a shame. I don't think that takes away from 1 Cor. 11 though. Do you think the scripture is calling for the woman to wear a head covering.

Sin is transgression of the law. So it wouldn't have been sin. So this leads to the thought it must have been a cultural thing of that time since God never mentions it.
