My pastor is related to the UPC Trimbles. He was not raised in church though after his parents got divorced when he was a small child. Led a very wild life until he was almost dead in his 20's and gave his life to Christ. Became youth pastor at the church where he was saved then later left to start The Experience Community church.

I've been following the church on FB, and the young pastor sent a friend request too. As someone who comes from a broken place, I am so overjoyed to hear stories about God raising up others from broken places and using it to His glory! I have to remind myself that God sees us as we truly are and sees the things that He can do in our lives, even when man often gets hung up on our past. Your comment has been a great encouragement to me today.
