We did discuss a few things board related, but not so much about people.
We had a couple (or more) mini sermons that were great from both Deacon and Phil. I left my sermon notes at home, so I wasn't able to contribute.
However, I did receive a call after dinner from a troubled employee and Phil said "she needs Jesus" and that's when without question, we all three started praying - - it was good. There were only a few people left in the restaurant, but it wouldn't have matter - it just felt like the right thing to do.
I told my employee the next day what happened and she was VERY touched and thanked me - - never know what that one small effort from us might mean in her life.

I read that it was a worker with Renda they prayed for.
Of course I read the words, and not between the lines.
They asked on GNC if "Barbara Walters was still reporting here?"

Thad you are a mess!
I had on what I wore to work that day - a black top and a skirt.
We did pray for one of my employees, not Phil's wife (where on earth did you get that?) and I don't think Phil was embarassed to be seen with me - lol!
