I don't know which substance you are soaking your bible pages in, but the Bible doesn't say what you say it says in this regard.

Mine does. It tell me not to wear gold and such.
Well got to go it's prayer time. I'm going to the church where I can lift up holy hands. No rings here.

THEY? They WHO?
God only had ONE wife in those days.
Now, let us not descend into sillyness.
Jerusalem was God's ONE and only wife.

You remind me of a certain man who prayed, "Lord, thank you because I am not like those filthy sinners who are not following the law according to my interpretation...and lifting hands with rings on them"

While you are there lifting your hands, pray about giving your beloved wife one. She wants one. She would be so thrilled that she will keep you smiling for years to come. God will be well pleased too. So far, he is not very wll pleased with a lot of pseudo-holiness...especially those who brag about it. It is shallow.

No Brother Strange, she will say, "I don't want to wear a ring" and when you ask her why, she will give you the standard Female Apostolic answer, "I just don't want to and it is my decision." ..."BUT WHY?" "BECAUSE I DON"T WANT TO!"

Just wonder how many of them would be lying? Not all I'm sure. Some, I'm also sure.

Have any scripture where God's Word speaks of rings on toes, nose, ears, tongue and everywhere else? If God's fer it, I'm fer it. If God is agin it, I'm agin it.
Btw, why use the words, "let the people...?" You and I are not going to LET anyone do anything, nor will you and I allow anyone to do anything...nothing at all. You need not use the word "let." People do what they want to do from their heart. There is no "letting" to it.

You go Bro. Strange!!

In my opinion the fire is going to be hot for those lifted up in pride with condemning spirits towards others. I wouldn't want to be in his place on Judgement day.

Oh, I've been there... and yeah some are lying... in fact, the judging of what others do is because some women truly don't believe it to begin with. They just want to keep everyone else in line and as miserable as they are with outrageous rules.
One of the best things that ever happened to me was to realize these things are not heaven/hell issues... so now I do not care what others are wearing... it isn't my business.. if it is a conviction... it is for me... if it isn't... It really doesn't matter what other's do.
When I wore my wedding ring, I saw it as an outward sign that I was married a sign of committment. My daughters purity rings.. are worn as a sign of committment to remain pure.
I think jewelry is adornment and should be worn in moderation, but personally believe that we should be consistant... if you are going to allow a string of fake diamonds on shoes/hair clips or whatever, you shouldn't care about a bracelet or necklace.
I also believe the Holy Ghost is more than capable of convicting someone if their adornment is too much. I am living witness of that H.G. conviction... he has spoken to my heart more than once. Amazing how that can work.
