Tamor,
You are remembering so many things that were a great part of my life!!!

We would move the coffee table and dance away on Saturday mornings! LOL!

Did you ever watch, "The Twilight Zone" and "The Roller Derby" on Saturday nights?

The Roller Derby was so stupid but we loved watching the women flipping over those rails and getting creamed.

Billy,

don't be a hero

don't be a fool with your life

Billy,

don't be a hero

come back and make me your wife

......so what does Billy do
goes and jumps on some grenade

maybe he thought it was better than having that song stuck in his head for an entire decade.

Tamor,
The Waltons?

My best friend and I were laughing about how they looked like "white trash".

She said, "We all wore our hair like white trash in the 70's!

I must have thrown all my memories and pictures in a dumpster along the way. I have forgotten so many things.

The Twilight Zone was SOOOO scary when we were little. It's goofy stuff now, but back then we were terrified!

And when we moved the coffee table, we would turn the records and albums on and have "concerts" singing into hair brushes. We would take turns singing while the others watched and cheered. We had our own "American Idol" back then before Idol was thought of.......

That is so funny that you bring up The Waltons. My sister was talking about them this week! What about Little House on the Prairie? "Half-Pint" couldn't go through a whole episode without crying about something!!

I remember the sissy flick "The Other Side of the Mountain" came out in the 70s. That was the first movie I ever went to see at a movie house (theater for the sophisticated). I was dating Debbie Deal at the time and she wanted to go see it.

And yes, I cried! So... ?
