imo i think a mark/brand will be a 1 world means of buying ,selling, or trading.
I think it will be worldwide.

I do not think it is about money or lifestyle control in th natural.

It looks to me as a way for the beast to single out Gods people,to make war with them and overcome them.(because Gods people will not take mark or worship the image of the beast,or the dragon/satan that gives life unto the beast)
It is about people giving Gods place to satan,and satan trying to dethrone God.

It is not about money.Money is the root of evil,used to cause men to go astray and follow satan.

For me, the statement that you made, "... that we were further down the road to a one world economic system than we have been, before..." struck me as being rather myopic. Your subsequent statements kind of intrigued me because you appeared to be saying that the world was inexorably headed along some linear progression as defined by Dispensational theology.

I tried to introduce you to the idea that the world actually goes through cycles of consolidation and break up to see what your response would be. At that point you cracked up and now appear to be incapable of processing the data which covers more than just your lifespan (I've seen your blog links further on - the fact that there are others who agree with you isn't the same as citing actual authorities on the matter).

Anything that doesn't fit easily into your mold - even a friendly question like: "Do you see the current trends toward consolidation in the global economy as being a sign of the end times?" causes you to react with "vehemence."

Lighten up, Bro. If you don't want to converse further, no big deal. Just settle in and read the WSJ or London's FT. Get a global perspective of the global trends that you're trying wrestle.

Pel - I didn't mean to come across as that passionate! I do believe that we are closer than further. Of course, that is a hard argument to have. Like saying I am closer to dying than I've ever been.
I would agree that the world goes through phases of one empire dominating over others. However, there are numerous world leaders that are behind the "one-world currency" idea. There are many variations of this idea, but the fact that major leaders are discussing it puts us closer.
Also, most of the links that I posted are from major news outlets. I just posted the blog links because they were easier to find.
I believe(d) that your major issue with my short posting was that you thought I was supporting dispensational theology.
I am not totally supportive of dispensational theology, but I do believe that we are headed for a world leader and a war against Israel.

The bottom line with the super rich globalists isn't merely aquiring more wealth, it is obtaining total control over people worldwide.

One of the rich globalists (Nick Rockefeller) was quoted as having stating that their end game was to eventually require everyone in the world to have a chip implant in order to buy or sell.

That is one of the reasons for the "mark", to be able to control people, because if you can control their ability to buy or sell, you can more easily control them.

Also, I believe that at the point in time the "mark" will be mandatory to buy or sell, it will also require a pledge of allegiance to Lucifer, because (likely via "Project Bluebeam") the majority of the world will have been deceived into believing that Jesus was just "a" christ, and that his message for the "age of Picses" was misunderstood, and that the world teacher, the "christ", that will lead the world into the "New Age", the "age of Aquarius" (likely Maitreya) will bring peace and safety to the world, but in reality he will be Satanic (Luciferian).
