I don't understand how "it's a fact" that they do that means insensitivity and provocation have little to do with why

KO is the liberal TV counter part to all those "crazy conservative talk show hosts" that use their imagination and inflammatory rhetoric to keep their jobs.

He completely ignores the fact that the building on this site is where the landing gear from one of the planes crashed after exiting the tower, thus making this a part of "ground zero." He goes to great lengths to obfuscate. Truth and reality have always been KO's biggest foes.
Olbermann is so oblivious to reality that he fails to realize that the mosque he visits in Manhattan in his report has been vocally opposed to the ICC's cultural center. He deliberately leaves that important fact out. Why are American Muslim opposed to this building while foreign interests are so keen to push it down everyone's throat?
Olbermann fails to mention that this building is to be constructed with foreign funds raised by the ICC. He fails to appreciate the fact that the former leader of the ICC was forced to leave the United States in disgrace after blaming the 9/11 attacks on "the Jews."
Olbermann, blinded by his own arrogant rage, also fails to appreciate the fact that the current leader of the ICC blames the United States for the attacks on 9/11. (I documented this on the same Facebook thread where DA2 picked up KO's rant).
Muslim Americans oppose this thing. Shouldn't we be sensitive to their voices?

I saw a fight when I was in high school between two of my classmates. I don't remember what the subject of the fight, but I do remember the "fight".
These two were arguing, and then it escalated to "let's get it on", the other said "OK, let me set my books down." While he was trying to set his books down the wiser of the two hit him hard square in the mouth. That my friend was the end of the fight. The moral of the story, preemption prevents long drawn out conflicts. The two became friends, but their was never a question, the hitter was not to be trifled with, they never fought again.
The bleeding hearts always, cause more death and destruction by trying to limit war, Germany and Japan got the message in WW II, finally after the peaceniks were silenced. But no more the strongest, most powerful nation on earth is weak, because she lacks the courage to believe that freedom should be defended with all necessary force.
Therefore, we have Vietnam, and Korea and Iraq and Gaza, the West Bank and Iran.
Libya also got the message!! But due to the leftist, anti-American, bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, apologize to the Muslim world, "the strongest has become weak" and the "weak say we are strong". What utter garbage, and rank stupidity sits in our capital, too many congressmen and bureaucrats are bought and paid for by foreign interests.

It would be better to listen to Charles Krauthammer - "What happened was the President made a strong statement, hailed as a courageous one at the Ramadan dinner. But it wasn't a matter of courage. Courage would have been, at that audience, a Muslim audience, he should have said, "Yes, I believe in the legal right. You have every legal right to do it. But I would appeal to you as Americans -- after all, I'm the President. I'm not a judge, I'm not the Supreme Court, I don't decide on legality, but as President I speak on behalf of the spirit of America -- that you ought to consider the decency and propriety of establishing a house of worship dedicated to Islam at a spot where people were murdered in the name of Islam." Obviously, there's a distinction between the murderers and the religion, there's no question about that. But this is a place where you might want a nondenominational place of worship as you have in hospitals, a place of meditation. But establishing a mosque in that area is a provocation. The President should have said that. He didn't. He missed an opportunity. And I think he alienated all sides here."

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Olbermann's One Lucid Moment on the "Mosque"
Sure they can build the Mosque there, but should they. Is it an "in your face" or just a peaceful exhibition of Islam? Perhaps if we knew who is supplying the money we might be able to figure this out.
