I am buying a Smith and Wesson 36 Lady Smith Revolver. My city is full of gangs and crime.

Depends on the situation, I suppose. I don't go looking for trouble, and thankfully, I live in an area where someone shooting pebbles from a slingshot and breaking windows is big news, but if I lived in a big city where I felt my family was at risk for harm, I'd keep one on me.

But then again, that's why I don't live in the city. I won't put my family in that situation. I was raised in the city and our home was broken into several times, with one attempt while we were home alone (that freaked my mom out).

I moved away from that area when my children were toddlers and I'll never go back.

Well, it ain't that easy to own a Gun up here in Canada.

I am afraid if I have one, I would be strongly tempted to use it!

If I lived in the Country I would probably own one.

I believe the Angles will keep the bad guy out of my house. If the bad guy doesnt listen to the Angles telling him to stay out, that will be the last thing he doesnt hear.

Due to my past errors in judgment, I am forbidden to own a weapon of any kind. That said, I am pro gun and am for the right to carry. I do have a problem with the inefficient and ineffective background check process our government(s) have put in place.

My husband is very much against us having a gun......but I do think we are going to buy one for our son that is moving to the jungle. I don't even know what a gun cost here but anyway...we will see.

Our neighbor has one. He is always shooting in the air to warn the robbers he is armed! I don't think one gun would have done much when those 12 highly armed men got into our hourse...we would have probably added just another gun to their collection...

Someone else mentioned owning one if they lived in the country. I don't get it. I'm safer away from everyone! LOL!

My mom lives in the middle of nowhere. She doesn't even have curtains! Doesn't need them!
