How did you find out about this story Mike? I just learned about it on the Rachel Madow show. She is the only one who mentioned it. O'Reiley and Hannity were silent.

Now DM you and I both know that Faux News isn't going to touch this story. It's not fair and balanced to the ultra right so you won't hear a peep of it on Faux.

I believe it was Sen. Boxer who mentioned it on the Sunday talk shows yesterday. She told about CIA director Leon Panetta testifying that he had been told by some CIA employees on June 23 that this ultra-secret program exsisted.

He asked if Congress had been briefed and they said that VP Cheney had given instructions not to disclose information to Congress about the program. Director Panetta immediately put a stop to the program until proper oversight could be established.

Cheney had no problem doing away with Congressional oversight just like other parts of the Constitution.

The law supports what W and Cheney did - that was limit knowledge of the "ultra-secret" program to those in Congress who needed to know.

Barbara Boxer's big mouth is reason enough to understand exactly why secret programs are kept to a limited few.

Boxer and Panetta should be booted out for exposing the program.
