It is pretty minute in the grand scheme of things. However, there are a lot of people on this forum who have had to deal with pettiness in personalities and people withholding good information and hiding behind walls. So, because of this, it makes many to consider this to not be a small thing. Of course given, as has been already pointed out, the position Dr. V claims, it only makes it more pressing.

Just today my neighbor lost everything, his house burned to the ground, car, truck everything was lost no fire insurance, red cross showed up to help, wil.l go by later and see if we can help, we can offer RV, food etc until they can find a place. This is real, this is important not some internet person who may or may not have degress.

I do take exception at your use of the term "some internet person". Perhaps you didn't mean it the way it sounds, but people here, even yourself, are not just "some internet" people. We are all real.
In fact, at a time when I had lost everything due to a natural -- and partially unnatural -- disaster, many of the people on this forum were members of another forum elsewhere and assisted me in my time of need, not only in prayers, but in giving of gifts and donations that sustained my family. I cannot tell you how proud it made me to be able to say that I did not have to rely on the government's assistance (though I did accept it) because my brothers and sisters were supporting me.

Re: Regent ranked in top 10 for online degrees.
On the ride into work this morning I was reading Making Your Case by Antonin Scalia & Bryan Garner I read a paragraph in there that made me think of this thread.
Some people have wondered why this is a big deal, some have stated it is not a big deal. I don't think anyone here really thinks this is an important issue outside of this...
"When even one of your citations fails to live up to your introductory signal, or is not parenthetically qualified when necessary, all the rest of your citations inevitably become suspect. remember the evidentiary maxim, which pretty well describes the way people (including judges) generally react to intentional or even careless distortion: falsus in uno, falses in omnibus. False in one respect, false in all.
Credibility is paramount no matter who you are or what you are doing without it nothing you say has much weight.

Excellent!
That is exactly what this is and once again, he's avoiding the issue completely now which makes him falses in omnibus!

2 things...
#1 Why were you reading on the ride into work (actually I know the answer to this, but you may want to make it clear to the others on this forum)
and
#2 I love it when you use big words...

Because I "ride" into work rather than "drive" into work. Well actually I do both, I drive to the metro then ride the metro.

Uh, Pro31, hon....if you're going to kiss someone for using big words you may want to choose Antonin Scalia or Bryan Garner since your hubby was quoting them... Of course I would not actually suggest that.
