Somehow the old Alice Cooper song schools out is running through my head!
I use to sing it as a kid when I got to this point.

We have enrolled them in a summer day camp just close by our house.
They go all over to summer attractions and do fun things.

It is also cheap too.
$55 bucks for a two week session per child.
Each one is there for two sessions, or the whole month of July.

They also teach them summer camp type songs like I am going out and eat worms.

I tried teaching them songs from when I went to Summer camp like this one sung to the tune of Oh dear what can the matter be.

It is called,

Oh dear what can the matter be,
seven old ladies got locked in the lavatory
they were there from Sunday to Saturday
nobdy knew they were there.

My kids think I had a cool summer camp experience.

What about your kids for the summer-any plans?
Zac has been out for almost two months now. What's wrong with you Canadians?????

I don't know.
They have always had a two month summer holiday & about 5 holidays, ten days off at Christmas, 10 days off at spring break, and about 1 professional day a month.

All totaled they are in school for about 180 days a school year.

It takes longer to make a Canadian Liberal they need an extra month in school.

Re: June 25-Last Day Of School!

Weeeelll, the kids are getting ready for thier last day of school today & we are getting flowers for thier teachers (for putting up with them!) & they are giving them thank you cards.
Today will be an easy day for them, fun party, and just taking it easy before the rays of summer get a hold of them!

In Sept they will be in grades 1, 4, & 5 respectively.

I wonder how long before they can work?

WOW. You guys really have your hands full, with your kids being that close together. I'm sure its a lot of fun, though.

The 5 and 4 yr old went with Mamaw and Papaw (my parents for 2 weeks), then the 3 and 2 yr old went for another 2 weeks. My two oldest went to VBS. Now this Saturday my in-laws, brother-in-law and my wife's aunt are coming to visit us from Spain for 18 days.

After they leave in the middle of July, my wife will have to deal with all 5 while I work during the day. Lord bless her! She loves it when August comes around.
We already went on family vacation, Hannah went to church camp, so future summer plans include fishing, swim lessons, and various other lazy afternoons.

Yes most people can't believe it until they see it. Around our house it is non-stop, but my wife and I have become accustom to it. The Lord is good and gives us strength and patience.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?
