I don't agree with everything that is going on at Christ Church, and HGB not being given a priority is one of them!

This fact has nothing to do with having a trinny speaker every great now and then!

Then again, CC doesn't assertively teach that trinnies are bound for hell! If you do teach that, I can see the consequences!

I can see where, as an organization, that assimilating with trinnies would not be congruent with their purpose for existance!

My Father-in-law tells the stories of Fellowship meetings years ago. You would not know whether you would hear a Oneness or Trinnie sermon until the sermon was over. At some point, they seperated from those who did not believe the Apostolic Doctrine.

The real problem comes when right relationship is taught, but it's taught as having it to rules and not to the Ruler. Standards are in every facet of our lives not just Church. There is nothing wrong with strong standards as long as we realize they do not save us. Only a right relationship with Jesus can. If we are not producing the fruit of the Spirit, not matter how much foliage we produce we are not fulfilling the Gospel and Doctrine of Christ. If we keep every standard so that an ultra-conservative looks sinful next to us but we do not have the real, awesome, consuming love of Jesus, we are nothing but clang brass and tinkling cymbals. Jesus said that ALL the law and the prophets are fulfilled when we Love God with everything we are and have, and we love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Love is the first attribute in the fruit of the spirit list.

Pianoman, we arent talking about community events. we are talking about the fact that the PAW fell 3 votes shy of allowing Trinitarians to speak at their conferences. (which in fact, they DID last year).

We are talking about an organization founded on solid Apostolic Doctrine that has eroded to the point where fully half their ministers dont see a dimes worth of difference between the local COGIC guy and themselves.

THAT is what we are talking about.

To some here, Sir Ferd, it simply does not matter anymore what is black and white. HGB is not important, as well as identity is no longer an issue.

The relative abstract now says that you MUST be able to reach the masses via TV no matter what.
