Anyone offended by pants on baby girls?

I understand your sentiments.

The nice thing is there is really no need to choose. Our girls wear skirts petty much all the time, and are very active in soccer, teeball and other sports.

There are quite a variety of skorts or culottes available.

Our girls wear skirts or skorts/culottes most of the time. When they were little, they wore bloomers under their skirts...so even if their skirts flipped up, nothing was shown except cute ruffles and gingham! Honestly, no one should be offended at seeing a baby's butt even if it does get flashed!

As for being "offended"...who cares what a baby wears? LOL!!! They can walk around in a diaper and nothing else and they're just as cute as a button.

Our girls wore little knit pajama sets and rompers (with pants) when they were little. When they started crawling we switched to onesies, because pants on the legs hinders their movement. (For Jeffrey, too, actually)

Bare feet and bare legs are best for babies inside. Outside...if its hot, go bare and use mosquito repellent. We use Burt's Bees Herbal Insect Repellent. It smells good, its made from environmentally friendly (and kid/baby friendly) ingredients, and it works pretty good. (not quite as good as OFF, but it's a good trade off to not spray on skin-numbing chemicals.)

In the days when my girls were small, I prefered that they were skirts or dresses--but leggings were so very helpful!!!

Offended? Hardly. Prefer differently. Sure--but not because I'm sending them to hell--just simply because it makes a statement and I think little baby girls look gorgeous in pretty little skirts and dresses!

When my girls were really little, had there short hair, etc., I was so proud of them, and I didn't want anybody to mistake them for a boy. So, there were all kind of skirt/dress outfits with thick leggings that were just as good as a pair of pants--they just had extra cloth instead of just the leggings.

So, if you are worried about offending someone--they have those outfits--and if somebody is really going to get offended over a baby girl in a skirt/dress with leggings--I would think you have done far more than enough to attempt to be conciliatory.
