Except they didn't announce they had evidence, they announced that they "came to a consensus". That's not the same thing. If there is proof that Russia was involved, I want to see it, or at the very least be made aware that such evidence exists. All it proves, is that the CIA is unwilling to state unequivocally that Russia was involved.

Just as science is not proved through consensus, neither is an investigation. Both are proven through facts, which the Washington Compost stories are extremely devoid of.

You guys act like you won a football game, and like all of this is just not important. This is our nation you're laughing about. I'm a vet, and I've worked with this stuff. If the intelligence community has come to a consensus, there is enough data to unite them on their conclusion. It's no joke. It's no laughing matter. They are wording their response as un-alarmist as possible because this is so serious. Don't take their careful wording as a sign of no consequence. They are rushing to look more deeply into this because Trump will silence them and shut any investigation into this down. I know the words they are using isn't as sensational as stories about Hillary eating children. Maybe if it were, conservatives would put down their Big Gulps and Big Macs and take notice. Time is running out on their freedom to look into this. Trump shows no interest in making the open promise to allow any such investigation to continue or be taken seriously. This clearly shows the caliber of leader he isn't. Any one who cares at all about our great nation should be very concerned right now. But that escapes the conservative mindset that favors party loyalty over the Republic. We'll talk again about this in the coming years. And you'll eat your words, I promise you. Oh, and when the next great attack on us happens, because it's coming, steel yourself and try not to be swept away by all the patriotic zeal that will sweep the nation and call you to unite under the wings of this devil.
