O, you quoted (somebody) as saying 'all Trump supporters care about is nationalism' in regards to their claim 'Trump will destroy conservatism'. What these #NeverVoters actually recognise is that 'conservatism' as a movement is dead. The 'conservative' movement hasn't done jack doo dad diddly to stop the march of socialism. We the People elected (allegedly) a bunch of 'conservatives' specifically to stop Obozocare and the rest of his antics. And they did what? Why, exactly NOTHING. In fact, they surrendered without firing a shot.

Therefore, millions of people are awakening to the fact the entire 'liberal vs conservative' meme is just that: a stupid, fraudulent meme designed to part well meaning people from their money.

Enter the wave of nationalism, carrying Trump as it's battering ram, marching to the gates of Mordor. Conservatism has failed, it has turned out to be a bad joke and a scam and a lie and a deception. The 'conservatives' do not want to conserve anything except their place on the Gravy Train. The fact 'conservatives' can support Hillary is proof positive that 'conservative' is as meaningless a word as supercalifragilicistickexpialidocius.

The electorate is swinging towards nationalism, 'America First'. What 'conservatism' pretended to be until the neocons got bold enough to drop the Reaganomics cloak by passing NAFTA and then Shrub's Global War On Tarruh-izm.

And they are afraid their irrelevency is actually happening.

Yes, 'conservatives', your irrelevency is happening as you watch. The Trump phenomenon is the harbinger of doom, proof positive that the phony 'conservative' movement has run its course, done nothing good, and is being swept away. 'Conservative' WILL be redefined by the Trump movement, whether anyone likes it or not. It will be redefined into a nationalistic, America First and Foremost conservation of American values, American goals, American goods, American workers, American institutions, American jobs, American traditions.

Either that, or 'conservative' will forever be remembered as the American political equivalent of 'Quisling'.

This is actually a good thing. The enemy is and has always been global socialism. Nationalism is the direct opposite of global socialism. Moreover, genuine nationalism always brings with it a rising tide of traditionalism, REAL conservative values, going back to 'the old traditions and values'.

The progressives in the democrat and republican parties must be needing to change their diapers quite often lately if the whining is any indication.

Unfortunately, I do not believe Trump is a genuine nationalist, otherwise he would have been using his money to thwart the Clintonistas way back in the 90s. But, Trump himself is actually irrelevent.
