Yes, probably so, but I have also heard that whatever the skin color, that would be the identifier as to which race the person identified themselves with. I think we talked about that on this forum once before.

That may appear simple enough but racial colors are just that, colors. You can't define a child with a "white" father and "black" mother and that child comes out dark as the mother and say because his/her father is white that that child is also white. That child is mostly gonna be identified by the color of their skin toward what racial color they are going to claim. You either simply claim the child by its identifying racial color or claim they're biracial or mixed.

Now if you're going to talk about nationality well that transcends racial "colors" and that more or less applies to what your speaking of with regards to the father and ethnicity.
